Merchant Industries located in Hamilton, Waikato specialise in architectural fabrication and welding; structural fabrication and welding; and bespoke fabrication across a variety of design and architectural projects. We're passionate about the design process and pride ourselves on working closely with designers and architects to achieve beautiful results. Taking on challenging projects at all scales has created trust in our community and made us renown for our craft.

the Founder

Jordan Engelsman is a certified welder and machinist with over a decade of design and manufacturing experience. He has worked in many industries including furniture, sports equipment, structural and architectural. Jordan has built trust in the design community with his reliability, quality and ability to problem solve and collaborate with design teams.

Services

Our core competency is the fabrication and installation of bespoke designs in steel. We also offer in-house services for traditional engineering and can scale up for batch run manufacturing in steel.
